Managing Subscriptions

The Subscriptions page is where you see every customer subscription across all four plan types — Regular, Gift, Curated, and Bundle — in one place.

  • Use the tabs (All, Regular, Gift, Curated, Bundle) to filter by subscription type. The number next to each tab shows how many subscriptions of that type exist.
  • The stat row (Total, Active, Paused, Cancelled, and per-type counts) gives you a quick health check without opening any individual subscription.
  • The Search box matches against customer email, name, plan name, or subscription number.
  • The Status dropdown filters by Active, Paused, or Cancelled.

Each row shows:

  • Customer — name and email.
  • Type — Regular, Gift, Curated, or Bundle (color-coded).
  • Plan — the plan name and subscription number.
  • Frequency — how often this subscription renews.
  • Price — the current price, with any active discount badge (e.g. “Subscription 10%”, “Loyalty · Gold 8%”, “Trial”) shown underneath.
  • Orders — total number of orders placed on this subscription.
  • Status — Active, Paused, or Cancelled.
  • Next Order — the date of the next scheduled charge/delivery.

Each row has four action buttons:

  • View — opens the full subscription detail modal (see below).
  • ✉️ Email (marked “New”) — send a one-off email directly to this customer. Their reply goes to your configured Reply-To address, not to Subsy.
  • ⏸ Pause — pauses this individual subscription.
  • ✕ Cancel — cancels this individual subscription.

You can also select multiple rows using the checkboxes and click Email Selected to email several customers at once.

Clicking View opens a detail panel with three sections:

  • Customer Information — email, name, phone, when the subscription was created, and total order count.
  • Subscription Plan Details — plan name, frequency, original price, final price, any discounts applied (shown as a badge, e.g. “Loyalty · Gold 8%”), last order date, and next order date.
  • Order History — every order placed on this subscription, each showing the Shopify order number, date, amount, payment status, and the line items included in that order.

Click Email Settings (top-right of the Subscriptions page) to configure the Reply-To Email used whenever you email a customer from this page (single or bulk).

Click Klaviyo Integration (top-right of the Subscriptions page) to connect your Klaviyo account. Once connected, subscription events — Created, Renewed, Paused, and Cancelled — automatically flow into Klaviyo, so you can build flows and segments around subscriber behavior.

  1. In Klaviyo, click your account name in the bottom-left corner.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Account tab in the settings navigation.
  4. Select API Keys from the left-hand settings menu.
  5. Scroll down to Private API Keys and click Create Private API Key.
  6. Give the key a name (e.g. “Subsy Integration”).
  7. Under Access Level, choose Full Access, or if you prefer a restricted key, choose Custom and make sure Events has write access enabled.
  8. Click Create, then copy the generated key immediately.

Paste the copied key into the Klaviyo Private API Key field in Subsy and click Save.
