Your Shopify Account

This section explains how access to Subsy works through your Shopify store, and your responsibilities as the store owner.

Access Through Shopify

Subsy is installed and accessed through your Shopify admin. There is no separate Subsy account, username, or password to create — access is managed entirely through your Shopify account and Shopify's own authentication and permission system.

Keeping your Shopify account secure (including who on your team has admin access to your store) is your responsibility. Subsy relies on the permissions Shopify grants it to function, and cannot control who has access to your Shopify admin.

Account Usage

As the store owner, you are responsible for all activity that occurs through your store's connection to Subsy, including actions taken by staff accounts you've granted access to. Please ensure you monitor and manage staff permissions appropriately.

If we detect any suspicious or unauthorized activity related to your store's use of Subsy, we may take reasonable steps to protect your data, including pausing certain automated features until the issue is resolved.

Limitation of Liability

This section outlines the limitations of our liability regarding the use of Subsy. Understanding these limitations helps you know the extent of our responsibilities and your rights.

General Limitations

Subsy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use Subsy, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles.

Third-Party Services

Subsy integrates with third-party services (such as Shopify, Klaviyo, and page-builder apps) that are not owned or controlled by us. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for these third-party services. Using these integrations is at your own risk and subject to each provider's own terms.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of any third-party service connected to Subsy. It is your responsibility to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service you connect.

Maximum Liability

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the use of or inability to use Subsy exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for using Subsy during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the form or source of the claim or loss, whether such liability arises out of any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort, or otherwise.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
